Hengshan Mountain is a Buddhist holy mountain filled with temples nestled in a series of steep hills. The closest major city is Datong and the Datong page has directions on how to get to Hengshan Mountain. Admissions to the park is 30 RMB (18 students), and admissions to the temples on the hill is another 20 RMB (12 students).
There is a small hotel (with very rudimentary toilet facilities) on Hengshan Mountain. Business card is shown below. Going rate was 20RMB/night/person for dorm style rooms.
